Meet Jasmine
— Founder of Petals In Waves, Certified Music Therapist
Music has been an integral part of my life since childhood, but it wasn't until I discovered songwriting intuitively as a tool for self-healing that I began to explore the many facets of the musical world and the power of creative expression. Since then, I've let sounds and music guide me to where I am today — including musical training across classical, jazz, pop, and contemporary styles.
My approach is trauma-informed, integrative, and multiculturally-aware — shaped in part by my own experience as an immigrant. I hold space for the connection between mind, body, and soul, and believe healing happens through both intuition and intention. Over the years, I've supported people across a wide range of ages and life circumstances, from children to seniors, through both individual and group work. Today, my practice centers on adaptive piano lessons and guided songwriting, welcoming children and adults of all abilities and musical backgrounds.
Music can be powerful medicine for the soul. I believe it is a gift meant to be shared — not just as a skill to master, but as a tool for navigating everyday stress and making sense of lived experience. I look forward to exploring together what that looks like for you.
